部長は周囲の意見をよく聞くいいﾘｰﾀﾞｰだ is translated as:
"The department head is a good leader that listens to opinions."
While a quick look at the Kanji in this sentence may lead to the conclusion the they are more or less all coverd in the English translation, there is one that is conspicuously missing. And that is 周囲, which is translated as "surroundings" in the hover. Now, perhaps this department head "surrounds" himself with "ideas" and therefore he is a good leader. Or perhaps he listens to *every* idea that comes from his "surroundings"?
Another problem is the use of the word "leader". While this seems like an obvious translation for the katakana "ﾘｰﾀﾞｰ", in English the term "manager" or even "management" is more or less mandatory when referring to the higher-ups in a company's hierarchy. You may find the term "leadership" being used in expensive trainings for managers, but don't mistake this kind of roaring superlative for the kind of language that would actually be in use in an English-speaking workplace environment. (In fact, if you were to look up the German translation for "leader" you would encounter a word with rather painful historical echoes. Even the use of the English word "leader" can be an uneasy reminder of this period in European history.)

毎年朝顔の種を庭のまきます, which obviously means something like:
"Every year I plant morning glory seeds in the garden" instead of "I scattered morning glory seeds in the garden.
Reasons:
- there is no "every year" in your translation, which is what 毎年 means;
- the verb "to scatter" has the -ます extension, which is non-past tense instead of past tense (which would be -ました).
I've complained about this kind of type of obvious translation error before, although this one is really obvious. I would expect this kind of error from free sentence decks made by amateurs, but not from a paysite that advertises itself is being run by professionals.

And on a related note: the continued lack of responses from Cooori staff in this section has by now crossed from annoying to downright insulting. Even though you claim to all be working hard on Cooori 2.0, is that really an excuse to simply abandon customers who have paid (or are still paying) for the present version of Cooori? Shame on you all!

When a verb ends in -る, you also need to know the polite form in order to know which type of る-verb it is, i.e. a Type 1 or a Type 2 Verb. (And sometimes you even need to know the polite form to know which verb you're dealing with *period*, since Japanese has quite a few words that are pronounced identically, i.e. "homonyms").
Examples: 成る ("to become") has 成りますas its polite form. That way you know how to conjugate this verb to its plain past form: remove the -る and add -った to get "became". Would it be possible to add either the polite form or simply "Type 1" or "Type 2"?

I use midori (iphone japanese dictionary) to look up words while reading. It can export word study lists like:

いけにえ【生け贄】
sacrifice, scapegoat

じょおう【女王】
queen

よこどり【横取り】
usurpation, snatching, seizure

みちがえる【見違える】
to be beyond recognition, to be quite different

I'd like to be able to upload such a list to create a study list in cooori. I realize there is a way to look up and add one word at a time. I think it would be much better if cooori would allow users to add entire lists by uploading a word file rather than doing one word at a time by hand.

Here are just a few impressions that might be useful to you guys (I'm not sure)

- First of all great job on the design, I love it

- The explations are clear, the steps to register easy

- I unfortunately passed JLPT 2 2 years ago and that is the most advanced list of words I could choose. Since I don't know any of the textbooks that are already there, I don't exactly feel like searching through all the words

- Creating my own list does not seems easy (it doesn't seem to be something you want users to do since it's not explained (otherwise I missed it)

- The blog posts are nice but short, they don't contain a lot of information. I can see how they are easy to read but I fail to see the incentive to read them.

Sorry if I'm a little direct, but I really hope this can help.

Your website looks promising, and I have yet to complete the trial (whatever that is, there's very little information as to how long it is/what it encompasses), but $17 seems a little to high. In my experience, most people are used to paying $7.99 or $14.99 for most online subscriptions, ranging from streaming services, radio, and gaming. I feel that if the price were lowered to $14.99 it would be more in-line with most of the more pricey subscriptions, and I for one would be more inclined to subscribe if that were the case. At $17, its mentally pushing that $20 mark that puts me off to most subscription services. If $17 is set in stone, I feel that more information about the service needs to be given than what is currently available, and that the terms of the trial and its limitations need to be thoroughly explained to give us a better idea of what we are experiencing.
