Correct the following mispronunciation:
一昨年 should be pronounced おととし, but it sounds like "いさぐね" in the audio for this card...

Add clarification for the following translation
部長は周囲の意見をよく聞くいいリーダーだ is translated as:
"The department head is a good leader that listens to opinions."
While a quick look at the Kanji in this sentence may lead to the conclusion the they are more or less all coverd in the English translation, there is one that is conspicuously missing. And that is 周囲, which is translated as "surroundings" in the hover. Now, perhaps this department head "surrounds" himself with "ideas" and therefore he is a good leader. Or perhaps he listens to *every* idea that comes from his "surroundings"?
Another problem is the use of the word "leader". While this…1 vote -
Correct the following incorrect translation:
毎年朝顔の種を庭のまきます, which obviously means something like:
"Every year I plant morning glory seeds in the garden" instead of "I scattered morning glory seeds in the garden.
Reasons:
- there is no "every year" in your translation, which is what 毎年 means;
- the verb "to scatter" has the -ます extension, which is non-past tense instead of past tense (which would be -ました).
I've complained about this kind of type of obvious translation error before, although this one is really obvious. I would expect this kind of error from free sentence decks made by amateurs, but not from a paysite that…3 votes -

Clearly distinguish between the two different types of る-verb
When a verb ends in -る, you also need to know the polite form in order to know which type of る-verb it is, i.e. a Type 1 or a Type 2 Verb. (And sometimes you even need to know the polite form to know which verb you're dealing with *period*, since Japanese has quite a few words that are pronounced identically, i.e. "homonyms").
Examples: 成る ("to become") has 成りますas its polite form. That way you know how to conjugate this verb to its plain past form: remove the -る and add -った to get "became". Would it be possible…2 votes -
Also include the following information in the grammar section
When a verb like 鳴く ("to make animal sounds") is followed by 始める ("to start"), why does the first verb change from なく to なき?
(I've studied a lot of Japanese grammar already, including verb conjugations, but I don't believe I've seen a verb change form this way anywhere before...)5 votes -
Consistently use the same translations for words in sentences when compared to separate cards
Example: "to learn" is translated as 習/ならう in the cards. Yet in the sentence "It takes a lot of time to learn Kanji", the verb "to remember" i.e. 覚える/おぼえらう is used. My suggestion: either translate "to learn" as 習/ならう or use "to remember" in the original English sentence. This doesn't seem to be a matter of one Kanji having multiple meanings. "To remember" and "to learn" each have separate Kanji, judging by their entries on jisho.org.
(I've mailed at least 5 more examples, but have yet to receive any reply to that mail.)

batch entry for new words
I use midori (iphone japanese dictionary) to look up words while reading. It can export word study lists like:
いけにえ【生け贄】
sacrifice, scapegoatじょおう【女王】
queenよこどり【横取り】
usurpation, snatching, seizureみちがえる【見違える】
to be beyond recognition, to be quite differentI'd like to be able to upload such a list to create a study list in cooori. I realize there is a way to look up and add one word at a time. I think it would be much better if cooori would allow users to add entire lists by uploading a word file rather than doing one word at a time by…

It is very hard to find the place to submit the photo of student ID in order to get the discount every month.
It should be easier to find, the only place I saw that link was on the page to actually pay the fee, and I can't get back there because I'm logged in now.

Multiple rows in the shelf
When you have more than 20 themes in the shelf it it a bit cumbersome to navigate in the current way. It would be much easier if there were several rows - maybe an option to choose the number of rows.

Please could you mark appropriate verbs transitive or intransitive
It is not always easy to work out what verb is required from the English translation.

Badges
It would be great, as an incentive to study even more, to have badges that we can get when we reach specific goals. For example, a badge for every 100 words, a badge when you complete the N5 study, etc.

Creating your own cards.
Right now we can only review cards that is in the different decks.
By creating your own cards I mean just like any other SRS - typing in the kanji, kana, english keyword, example sentence and audio yourself. This would allow more advanced users to be more compelled using Coori.

General feedback
Hi Cooori Team,
Here are just a few impressions that might be useful to you guys (I'm not sure)
- First of all great job on the design, I love it
- The explations are clear, the steps to register easy
- I unfortunately passed JLPT 2 2 years ago and that is the most advanced list of words I could choose. Since I don't know any of the textbooks that are already there, I don't exactly feel like searching through all the words
- Creating my own list does not seems easy (it doesn't seem to be something you…

Pricing Change
Your website looks promising, and I have yet to complete the trial (whatever that is, there's very little information as to how long it is/what it encompasses), but $17 seems a little to high. In my experience, most people are used to paying $7.99 or $14.99 for most online subscriptions, ranging from streaming services, radio, and gaming. I feel that if the price were lowered to $14.99 it would be more in-line with most of the more pricey subscriptions, and I for one would be more inclined to subscribe if that were the case. At $17, its mentally pushing that…

add grammar exercises
Just started using the system, but so far I've seen only vocabulary drills. It would be good to cover grammar too, if possible. For example, exercises for choosing correct conjugations, particles, politeness level, etc.
